Ok heres the problem. Ive been with my BF for 2.5yrs known him for 3.5yrs. He is a very ambitious and hard working person and puts his law degree first. Which i totally understand BUT i am a very needy person. I treat him like a King and put up with alot like not seeing for over a month due to study and the possibility of him going interstate for work experience. I just saw a psychologist today and she thinks that we should brk up. that he is not giving me what i want emotionally and physically and that he may never do this as when he gets a job he'll probs put all the focus on that. I am just torn, i love him so much and he is my best friend he knows me like no1 else does. But in the long run i could possibly be VERY unhappy as i will never receive the love and attention i give to him. I have no idea what to do, i dont want to lose him but i dont wanna waste time if were not going to work. Im 24 and he is 25 and we live about 1 hr away so its kinda long distance with wkend visitsHeLp Help!! ReLaTiOnShIp AdVice NeEdED!!!!!!!!!!?

I think you should talk to him and tell him how you feel and see if he feels the same or if he is willing to give you the attention you need, and if he thinks that he is not capable of doing this because of his studies and later his work, then maybe you should consider what others have said and end it, but do it on good terms. It will be better to do that than to end it on bad terms because he is not giving you what you need. Maybe he does not really understand your needs unless you talk to him about it.
i think yur psychologist is rite..if yur not getting wht yu need emotionally than yu pprob never will..its bes just to end it and to stay friends.
